As much as I’m not looking for anything serious, when someone as hot as James asks me to come over to his house for a small party, I’m obviously going to accept. I thought that maybe spending all my evenings waitressing at a BDSM club would make it seem like work for me, that I might start growing callous to the sexuality that’s always palpable in Black Diamond, but I haven’t. I just get to be turned on all day while I watch others pleasure each other.

If I have to rebound, James is the best possible scenario. The only problem is that he seems too good to be true. Handsome, smart, funny, rich–all the things my ex was not, and all the things I don’t feel like I deserve.
